DECA is a high school marketing and entrepreneurship organization that is dedicated to developing and training the next generation of business and civic leaders. Their business training focuses on the areas of entrepreneurship, marketing, hospitality, and management. DECA strives to develop high school students to work hard, be creative, and become leaders through their unique business conferences and competitions.
Through participation in DECA activities, DECA members learn how to communicate thoughts and ideas, how to organize a presentation and more about what businesses expect from employees while gaining problem-solving skills. The DECA program empowers students to be effective leaders and helps to connect school to the real world.
